The mission of Team Invite is to encourage the Faith Practice Invite by:

• Finding ways to proclaim the gospel beyond the congregation

• Encouraging members to share their faith with others

• Inviting people to church

• Encouraging membership

• Integrating new members

• Creating a welcoming environment

TEAM INVITE has the responsibility to:

• Study evangelism methods and resources and implement in the congregation

• Find ways to make the congregation visible and known in the community

• Identify newcomers to the community and invite to church

• Follow-up on visitors to the congregation

• Provide for a new-member welcoming program

• Recruit and train greeters for worship services

• Encourage members to be welcoming of others

• Foster hospitality before and/or after worship services

• Make the church facilities a welcoming place

• Make and encourage use of name buttons
